Glamorous Hostile

A very good friend of mine came visit during the Thanksgiving Holiday. We went to the Metropolitan Museum and enjoyed some spectacular exhibitions.

I was wondering around the Armory section for a while and couldn't get over how stunning those swords and guns from the 18th century are.They are even prettier than the Jewelry in my opinion. Or they are accessories to the wealthy owners back in the days.

The breadth of collection in the Metropolitan Museum is beyond doubt. Here are some displays in the Egyptian and Arabic section.

And of course we have to stop by the 18th century European Painting and then visit Impressionism.
